BBC London resumes normal service

BBC London 94.9 have reinstated its normal schedule following complaints from many listeners that its non-stop war coverage was excessive.
The move, which includes the return of Danny Baker to the station's breakfast show, comes after listeners demanded the resumption of normal shows in place of the rolling news programmes introduced on the eve of the war.
"After careful consideration, we feel that the time is now right to get Danny back on air at breakfast, while making full provision to respond to news events flexibly and comprehensively," said a BBC spokesman, before confirming that the station would extend its news bulletins instead.
Baker replaces Jon Gaunt, the station's stand-in breakfast host during the coverage, who also attracted criticism for allegedly showing bias towards pro-war callers to his show.
