Capital FM have signed up Emma Forbes after luring her away from the breakfast show at rival London station Heart.
Forbes, whose successful partnership with Jono Coleman drew listeners away from Chris Tarrant's breakfast show, will will co-present Capital's revamped weekend breakfast programme with Chris Brooks from August 14.
"Having had the recent increase in listeners to Heart's breakfast show attributed to her, she has already proved a hit with London listeners," said Andria Vidler, Capital FM's managing director.
Harriet Scott will front Heart's breakfast show alongside Coleman on a temporary basis, with bosses at the Chrysalis-owned station to review her role at a later date.
