Virgin Media TV centralises acquisitions

Amy Barham, previously in charge of acquisitions for Virgin 1, Living and Living 2, has been promoted to the new role of head of acquisitions for Virgin Media Television.
Ronan Hand has been named acquisitions manager for Virgin 1, Bravo and Bravo 2, and Alex Ayling, formerly of MTV UK, has been appointed acquisitions executive for Living and Living 2. Brad Wood will remain the acquisition executive for Challenge.
Claudia Rosencrantz, Virgin's director of television, said: "I am delighted about the new, centralised acquisitions team.
"Amy now has a strong and talented team in place, coupled with her expertise in the international marketplace, the team can amplify the success already achieved."
Notable recent Virgin Media TV acquisitions include The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Chuck for Virgin 1 and Private Practice for Living.
