UKTV to launch Watch, rebrand Drama
Published Thursday, Jul 10 2008, 16:05 BST | By Dave West

The broadcaster has also confirmed UKTV Drama will be given a new focus on crime fiction and renamed as Alibi.
UKTV Gold, meanwhile, will be called simply Gold and move from "oldies" to general archive comedy.
Watch will launch as a subscription-only channel on October 7, UKTV chief executive David Abraham told journalists today.
Abraham said details of the new Richard and Judy programme had yet to be confirmed, but it would be "a bit more unplugged and grown up" than their Channel 4 show and possibly feature their daughter, Chloe Madeley.
The name changes follow the ratings success of Dave, which was renamed from UKTV G2 and made available on Freeview in the autumn.
