David Lloyd, director of programming and marketing at Virgin Radio, has announced he is leaving following the sale of the station last month.
Digital media director Andy Grumbridge has also decided to quit after a consortium led by Absolute Radio and the Times Of India Group bought Virgin from SMG.
Lloyd joined the station just under a year ago having been managing director of LBC. He had previously worked at Galaxy and Century Radio.
Programming will now be managed by Clive Dickens, programme and operations director for Absolute Radio, who will oversee a relaunch of Virgin Radio, under a new name, later this year.
