S4C to put English commentary on sport
Published Wednesday, Jul 16 2008, 13:48 BST | By Dave West

S4C has rights to a mix of live coverage and highlights for the Principality Welsh Premier League, Welsh Cup, the Magners League and Swalec Cup.
The service is broadcast UK-wide on free-to-air satellite and, in Wales, on Virgin Media's cable service.
S4C chief executive Iona Jones said: "S4C is a Welsh-language broadcaster with a remit to provide high-quality programmes in the Welsh language.
"However, the new service will enhance the appeal and accessibility of S4C to the many non-Welsh speakers who watch the channel, particularly our extensive sports output."
