Robbie Vincent will be presenting shows on BBC LDN 94.9FM over the Christmas period, the BBC announced today. Vincent presented one of the first phone-ins on radio on the original BBC local station for London, BBC Radio London, thirty years ago.
Vincent will stand in for Robert Elms on December 5, and then will present the Jon Gaunt show from December 29 through to New Year's Eve, along with Gaunt's January 2, 2004 show.
He said:
"I'm raring to go and really looking forward to meeting the London audience again and to returning to the radio station I have haunted for all these years."
