Five asks 'WTF?' over Manuelgate

Five has commissioned a fast-turnaround documentary titled Russell & Ross: What the F*** Was All That About? examining the furore surrounding Radio 2's October 18 broadcast of vulgar phone calls made by Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to Fawlty Towers star Andrew Sachs.

The hour-long show will air next Wednesday at 10pm and features an interview with Sachs' granddaughter, Georgina Baillie - the subject of the duo's phone comments - along with previously unseen video footage of her performing in a Satantic Sluts Extreme dance routine.

Yesterday, Radio 2 controller Lesley Douglas resigned and Ross was suspended without pay for three months over the saga. Brand resigned from the BBC on Wednesday.
