Dermot O'Leary joins BBC Radio 2

Dermot O'Leary has joined BBC Radio 2, it was announced today.
The presenter of Big Brother's Little Brother on Channel 4 has signed a deal with the station to present a regular music show beginning in the autumn. He said:
"It feels like being signed to Arsenal! I'm very flattered that such an established and massively successful station and brand want me to be part of it."
The news came as the station's controller, Lesley Douglas, announced other new signings and schedule alterations.
Mark Radcliffe - the 'Mark' part of 'Mark & Lard' - will present a new evening show beginning on June 7. Marc 'Lard' Riley has joined Radio 2's sister digital station, 6 Music.
Current evening presenter Richard Allinson will continue his weekend show and become the host of Radio 2's new Live and Exclusive programming strand.
Mariella Frostrup will present a new two-hour arts show on Friday nights from 10pm to midnight, beginning April 16.
