Radio 4 afternoon slots put out to tender

Helen Boaden, Radio 4 controller, has put two afternoon slots up for tender, Broadcast has reported.
Two new programmes will fill the 15.00-15.30 slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays, currently filled by The Exchange and Call You and Yours, from next Spring.
The contracts will be awarded in January and are being overseen by Factual Commissioner Jane Ellison.
