BBC adds HD content to iTunes UK

The BBC has added high definition content to the UK iTunes store.
Planet Earth is being sold in the store by BBC Worldwide for £2.49 per episode, or £24.99 for the entire series - the same price as the Blu-ray box set. It is also available in standard definition for £1.89 per episode of £17.99 for the series.
The landmark documentary series joins shows including Grey's Anatomy from ABC Studios and Battlestar Galactica from NBC Universal in the HD category of iTunes UK. HD content from those providers is also priced at £2.49 per episode.
