Paramount Comedy to become Comedy Central

The Viacom-operated station, which launched in 1995, will adopt the 'Comedy Central' brand at 9pm on Monday, April 6.
The change coincides with the launch of a new programming lineup that includes new episodes of Two and a Half Men, The Office and South Park.
Spinoff channel Paramount Comedy 2 will become known as Comedy Central Extra from the same date.
