The Radio One DJ apparently declared that he was "the best" and told the Daily Mirror that he would stay with the breakfast show until at least 2010.
Moyles, 35, rubbished reports that he was facing the axe as part of a reshuffle by the broadcaster, adding: "I'm not ready to come off and Radio One aren't ready to take me off.
"Apart from anything, there's no one else. I'm the best. Scott Mills would be all right - but he wouldn't be as good as me. But it doesn't make any difference because I am not going. I'm not leaving."
The Leeds presenter joined the station in 1997 and took over the morning role in 2004.
