Ross: 'Some media have anti-BBC agenda'
Jonathan Ross has claimed that some of the media may have an agenda against the BBC and possibly himself.

The presenter was speaking on the red carpet ahead of the British Academy Television Awards where he was beaten to the Best Entertainment Award by ITV's Harry Hill, PA reports.

Ross said: "There are certain members of the press who may have an agenda against the BBC and me perhaps. In which case we don't listen to them."

He added that his suspension over the lewd phone calls made to Andrew Sachs was like an "early test retirement" which made him realise how fortunate he was to have his job.
