Ofcom reports on PSB future

TV regulator Ofcom today published the "second phase" of its ongoing report into the future of public service broadcasting (PSB).
Among its key findings and recommendations were the establishment of a new provider in the PSB market, a lesser role for ITV in regional programming, the support of a licence fee-funded BBC and a greater PSB emphasis for Channel 4.
