Bravo prepares to woo female audience

The channel's factual, entertainment and humour after-controller Dave Clarke said that more "blokier" programming was favoured last year.
Following its Brits Behind Bars factual series, Bravo has now revealed plans to launch new series Zig Zag's Living Dangerously, which will feature a presenter living with a criminal family in attempt to investigate the morality of crime.
Clarke has said that he is now looking to commission more formatted entertainment factual shows like these in order to broaden the channel's appeal.
"Bravo is only 55%-60% male and you can't alienate women. But it's currently very male," he explained.
"There's a preponderance of bloke TV - we played it safe in the second half of 2008."
However, the company stressed to Digital Spy that the channel is male orientated and will remain so.
