'Sunday Service: Songs They Don't Play On The Radio' will begin on September 6 and run for 10 weeks. Borrell completed a month-long stint with the Global Radio station in January.
XFM's group programme director Paul Jackson described the star as a "creative genius and a great storyteller".
"We've always loved Razorlight at XFM and we're looking forward to seeing what Johnny does with the show and which tracks he chooses," he said.
Speaking about his latest radio stint, the 'America' singer said: "XFM are the only station who would let me play Buju Banton next to Allen Ginsberg within the same show. It's going to be one hour each night of the songs they don't play on the radio."
