The series - starring Gabriel Byrne, Dianne Wiest and Blair Underwood - is due to premiere in a prime time slot on Sky Arts 1 HD and Sky Arts 1 this autumn.
Focusing on psychoanalyst Paul Weston (Byrne), In Treatment follows him through his week, capturing sessions with his patients as well as his weekly appointments with his own therapist (Wiest).
"In Treatment is quite literally addictive," said John Cassy, channel director for Sky Arts. "An innovative format, tightly written and compelling characterisation leave you devouring one episode after another. We'll be showing it the way it deserves to be seen - from the way it's scheduled to the quality of the high definition."
The series will be screened in 30-minute slots every weeknight, mirroring each 'session' in real time, with a full repeat omnibus screened on Sunday evenings at 10pm.
