'Cilla Live' flops for Living TV
Published Monday, Dec 20 2004, 19:54 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

An average of just 248,000 viewers - a 1.7% share of the multichannel audience - tuned to LivingTV for Cilla Live between 9pm and 11.15pm, despite a week-long blitz of advertisements and interviews.
The extravaganza was out-trumped by the final episode of Sky One's sci-fi import The 4400, which had 848,000 viewers (5.1%), and ITV2 movie repeat Die Hard with 667,000 (4.6%). Even a Vicar of Dibley repeat on UKTV Gold ranked higher with an audience of 348,000 (2.0%).
In its heyday, Cilla attracted over 18 million viewers with Blind Date.
