Comic Vic Reeves has threatened to quit the BBC, claiming that his ideas for programmes are being ignored.
Reeves and partner Bob Mortimer have revealed that their plans for a new weekend show have been "snubbed" by the corporation.
Vic - real name Jim Moir - told The Mirror, "We've offered ideas but nobody has said anything. We'd love to do a Friday night show. Maybe the BBC doesn't want us any more. If not, we'll go to ITV or the Discovery Channel, whoever."
A BBC spokesman insisted, "We're very much open to ideas from very talented people like Vic and Bob."
The pair will star in Monkey Trousers, a sketch show for ITV1, in the New Year.
