The incoming morning presenter for Radio 2 suggested that Moyles would be moved on in the near future, the Daily Record reports.
Evans said of Moyles: "He must be entering towards the end of his tenure because he is simply playing to an audience that he is older than.
"That is not going to work if he continues to do it. It will be very interesting to see what he does next."
Last month, Moyles said that he was "not worried" about Evans and suggested that the former TFI Friday host will immediately lose two million of Radio 2's older listeners when he replaces Terry Wogan.
