Under the arrangement, Virgin 1 will broadcast Warehouse 13, which is the top-rated programme in 2009 on the Syfy US network.
The X-Files-style show follows two secret service agents who are relocated to a far-flung warehouse holding every strange relic, artefact and supernatural item ever collected by the US government.
Virgin 1 will also start carrying emergency medical drama Trauma, which tracks the action-packed daily lives of a team of first responder paramedics in San Francisco. Both 13-episode shows will premiere on the channel in 2010.
Virgin Media head of acquisitions Amy Barham said: "With Virgin 1 the fastest growing channel in Freeview, we want our 2010 schedule to continue to deliver the exciting, quality US drama we know our viewers love.
"Trauma's incredibly high production values and high-octane action coupled with the quirky, fun and imaginative world of Warehouse 13 helps give Virgin 1 a really strong lineup for next year."
