Two fired over Tsunami song broadcast

It was recently reported that the entire crew of the Miss Jones In The Morning show on New York's Hot 97 station were suspended after they aired the Tsunami song which mocked the victims of the South East Asian tsunami of Boxing Day.
Following the suspension, the show's producer Rick Del Gado and co-presenter Todd Lynn have been shown the door. Host Tarsha Nicole Jones and two other staff are still serving their two-week suspension. Rick Del Gado wrote and produced the song himself to the tune of 1985 relief single We Are The World.
The company, Emmis Communications, is giving $1m (£530,000) plus two weeks' pay from the disgraced members of staff to the Give2Asia charity and has declared that the "actions of the morning show crew were socially and morally indefensible".
