Ratings Roundup: Corrie murder draws 14m

An average of 13.04 million viewers - a 56.4% share of the available audience - tuned in for the heavily-publicised episode, shown at 7.30pm. The peak of 13.92 million came towards the end of the show.
BBC One's EastEnders continued to plod along with 11.15 million (47%) at 8pm, but was still comfortably ahead of ITV1's Emmerdale, which had 9.48 million (44.4%).
Comic Relief Does Fame Academy built its audience yet again with an average of 6.75 million (29.3%) in the 9pm hour and 5.69 million (32.8%) for its 10.35pm results show.
ITV1's Bond movie The World Is Not Enough managed a respectable 5.72 million (25.4%) from 8.30pm. BBC Two's Grumpy Old Women had 2.9 million (14%) at 10pm, significantly down from last week's debut of 3.71 million (18.1%).
Top multichannel programmes of the day went to BBC Three's coverage of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, which averaged audiences of 536,000 (3.9%) and 533,000 (5.3%) for its 10pm and 11pm episodes respectively.
ITV2's American Idol managed a respectable 419,000 (2.9%) average over 2 hours from 8.30pm, while on ITV3 at the same time, a Foyle's War repeat pulled in 402,000 (2.7%).
LivingTV's new episode of CSI: Miami attracted 353,000 (2.3%) in the 9pm hour, while on Sky One, a repeated Mile High drew 170,000 (1.1%).
