Ratings Roundup: 'Fame Academy' builds steam

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy is still riding high in the ratings as it builds towards Friday's final.
Last night's show pulled in an average of 7.99 million - a 38.1% share of the available audience - in the 8pm hour on BBC One, peaking with a hefty 9 million at 8.40pm. The later results show, screened at 10.35pm, enticed 6.01 million (34.1%).
Its shift to the 9pm slot meant that Holby City was down by around 2 million on its usual figure, with an average of 6.11 million (25.1%).
Blanketing ITV1's primetime schedule was live Champions League coverage of Chelsea vs Barcelona, which averaged 6.18 million (25.1%).
As expected, top programme went to EastEnders, which managed 10.76 million (45.9%). Emmerdale landed second with an average of 8.26 million (38.1%).
Fred Dibnah's final TV series Made in Britain got off to a good start on BBC Two, with an average of 3.48 million (13.7%) at 8.30pm. It easily beat Nigel's Place in France, which had 1.83 million (7.2%) on C4 at the same time.
In the 9pm hour, a new episode of CSI gave Five the edge over C4's Brat Camp: What Happened Next?, with an audience of 2.63 million (10.8%) versus 2.61 million (10.7%).
ITV2's Champions League coverage of the game between Manchester United and AC Milan was a big hit on multichannel, with an average audience of 1.03 million viewers (6.5%) between 7pm and 10pm.
Elsewhere, Sky One's new episode of Enterprise took fourth place with 568,000 (3.4%) in the 8pm hour. The season finale of Stargate Atlantis pulled in 447,000 (2.7%) at 9pm, easily beating E4's The O.C., which had 128,000 (0.8%).
Other big hitters included BBC Three's Comic Relief Does Fame Academy with 459,000 (5.8%) at 11pm and ITV3's A Touch of Frost repeat with 335,000 (2%) from 8pm.
