The radio co-hosts, who were suspended when they grilled a 14-year-old rape victim about her sex life live on their breakfast slot, have been named as the new presenters of countdown and interview show Take 40 Australia.
The pair will be just the third hosts in the programme's 26-year history, after Barry Bissell and Andrew G decided to swap shows with them.
Sandilands told The Daily Telegraph: "It's the only radio show I remember as a kid and Barry Bissell was my hero - I used to try and mock his voice.
"We'll also be able to get some of the big interviews on Take 40 that we don't get on the breakfast show because some international acts will only do one Australian interview, on Take 40, like Madonna did when she only spoke to Andrew."
Both Sandilands and Jackie O recently voiced their regret for last year's scandal.
