ITV could reward new chief executive Adam Crozier a sum of £14m in the next five years if he can meet success, according to reports.

The Guardian says that the former Royal Mail and FA boss, who arrived at ITV headquarters last week, could earn as much as £750,000 per year.

New chairman Archie Norman, who recently claimed that Crozier would bring change to ITV, revealed: "It is not in the Tony Ball league, very far from it."

Ball, former CEO of BSkyB, reportedly asked for over £25m in bonuses.

Despite the continuing success of programmes like Britain's Got Talent and Coronation Street, it is thought that Crozier's challenge will be to raise advertising revenues further and fend off the increasingly strong competition from the digital world.
