Five to launch women's channel?

The new station - Five's first multichannel spinoff - would be similar to LivingTV with a lineup of female-targetted lifestyle programmes.
Early reports had indicated that Five was looking to launch a kids channel based on its popular Milkshake strand but that idea has now been abandoned.
A Five spokesman confirmed that "a range of options" were being considered as part of the network's digital strategy.
