ITV4 for males to launch in Autumn
Published Friday, May 27 2005, 16:08 BST | By Neil Wilkes
ITV will launch its latest digital channel this Autumn, network CEO Mick Desmond has confirmed.
"It's going to be a male-biased channel but it's absolutely not Men and Motors," he revealed. "It's going to have a more populist feel, aimed at men of all ages.
"In the same way ITV2 is young and more female and ITV3 is older and more upmarket, ITV4 will be more male-biased but with a generalist programme."
The lineup will include sport, cop shows and US sitcoms.
