Reality TV star Price will have a live interview on the Sunday, following an appearance by her ex-husband Peter Andre at last year's event.
Also confirmed for the festival weekend are BAFTA-winning screenwriter Paul Abbott, who will deliver an Alternative MacTaggart Lecture, and Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat, who is hosting a masterclass.
There will also be a Got To Dance competition, featuring reality show judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberley Wyatt and Adam Garcia commenting on dancing performances from broadcasters and independent producers.
The 35th MGEITF takes place on August 27 to 28 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
