In nominations announced today, the four channels will also face competition from BBC Four, the Cartoon Network, Comedy Central and Sky News for the non-terrestrial prize.
Unsurprisingly, BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4 and Five will compete for the 'Terrestrial Channel Of The Year' award.
'Terrestrial Programme Of The Year' will see BBC One's Doctor Who and Outnumbered go up against ITV1's The X Factor and Harry Hill's TV Burp, along with Five's FlashForward.
E4's Glee and The Inbetweeners are up for 'Non-Terrestrial Programme Of The Year', but they will face strong competition from Comedy Central's 30 Rock, Sky1's Pineapple Dance Studios and Newswipe With Charlie Brooker on BBC Four.
Winners will be decided in a live vote at a ceremony hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall on August 28 during the festival.
