'Block' fails to rock for ITV1
Published Sunday, Jul 17 2005, 11:43 BST | By Neil Wilkes

Rock Around the Block, which transforms two neighbouring families into competing pop groups, averaged just 1.77 million (12.5%) between 7.15pm and 8.15pm last night.
The Big Call - also hosted by Neil Fox - managed to lift figures in the following hour, with an average of 3.28 million (19.5%) and a seventh place ranking for the day.
The top-rated show was BBC One's Casualty, with an albeit reduced audience of 6.33 million (37.5%). The channel also enjoyed success with Des Lynam's interactive "real age" quiz, Are You Younger Than You Think?, which had 3.85 million (21.9%) between 9.10pm and 10.50pm.
The return of Big Fight Live to ITV1's schedules put up a strong defence with an average of 3.06 million (17.9%) over two hours from 9.15pm.
