Ford restructures C4 acquisitions

Jeff Ford, Channel 4's newly appointed head of acquisitions, has announced a restructuring of the department.

Gill Hay has been upped from business manager to the new position of deputy director of acquisitions, taking on a "managerial role" across the unit.

Tim Highsted has become senior editor of feature films, assuming responsibility for editorial management of feature films airing on Channel 4, E4 and the upcoming More4. Alexandra Finlay will serve as editor.

Ali Bass has been promoted from programming executive to series editor, while Paul Philpott adds a 'senior' tag to his role as programming executive.
