'Supernanny' continues to soar

The show averaged 5.07 million viewers - a 22.8% share of the TV audience - in the 9pm hour, reaching a peak of 5.5 million and finishing an impressive sixth place for the day. The figures represent an increase of almost 1 million viewers over the past fortnight.
ITV1 was Channel 4's closest rival, drawing 4.29 million (19.8%) for continuing drama The Golden Hour between 9pm and 10.30pm. 3.22 million (14.5%) had the Murder Blues on BBC One, while Five's movie Swordfish (1.94 million, 9.4%) topped BBC Two's Space Race (1.64 million, 7.4%).
Supernanny capped a strong night all round for Channel 4. Other hits included Lost, seen by 3.44 million (19.2%) from 10pm, How Clean Is Your House?, with 3.51 million (16.4%) at 8pm and canine psychology show It's Me or the Dog, with an average of 3.31 million (14.7%) from 8.30pm.
Shelley's wedding day continued to pull in the punters for Coronation Street , with an average of 11.43 million (53.5%) tuning in at 7.30pm. Emmerdale had 8.57 million (46.2%), while The Bill put in a strong 7.17 million (32.6%) for third.
Once again Lost topped the multichannel chart, pulling in 1.06 million (16%) to E4 in the 11pm hour.
The second week of Britain's Next Top Model failed to strike a chord with viewers, averaging just 208,000 (1.3%) in the 9pm hour for LivingTV. The show was trumped by BBC Three's US edition of The Apprentice, seen by 258,000 (1.6%) at the same time.
