The man behind the launch of E4 has been promoted to head of marketing at Channel 4.
Rufus Radcliffe, currently working on the launch campaign for More4, will report to Polly Cochrane, Director of Marketing, in his new role.
“Marketing E4 has been an amazing experience, working with a brilliant team of people to create one of the most distinctive brands in digital TV," said Radcliffe. "More4 is also set to become a really strong and successful new channel following its launch next month. The Channel 4 role will be an incredibly exciting new challenge that I can't wait to get started on.???
Meanwhile, Cochrane has launched a search to fill the newly-created position of Head of Marketing Digital Channels, with marketing responsibility for E4, FilmFour, More4, their multiplexed services and any future digital channels.
“I am delighted that Rufus has accepted this fantastic new challenge," said Cochrane. "He will bring additional strategic and commercial skills together with brand building experience in a multi-channel universe, all of which will serve Channel 4 well as we gear up for switchover.???
