'Frost' return draws 10 million

The episode, screened over two hours from 8.20pm, averaged an impressive 9.56 million (39.1%) and made a second place finish for the day, behind only Coronation Street's 10.51 million (44%).
BBC One held around the half the audience, averaging 4.94 million (20.1%) for a new Monarch of the Glen in the 8pm hour and 5.31 million (21.4%) for Waking The Dead an hour later.
Channel 4 put in 1.82 million (8.4%) for sci-fi sequel Pitch Black between 9pm and 11pm, while on Five, Practical Magic pulled in 1.32 million (21.6%).
A repeat of Saturday's X Factor topped the multichannel chart, averaging 1.11 million (6.5%) for ITV2 at 8.20pm. The ensuing spinoff show, Xtra Factor, put in 883,000 (5.3%) for second. A repeat of Jordan and Peter: Marriage and Mayhem also fared well, drawing 567,000 (5.4%).
Sky One had a strong evening, led by The Match - The Celebrity Trials with an average of 502,000 (3.4%) in the 7pm hour. Later, Hex dropped to 274,000 (1.6%) at 9pm, beaten by E4's Lost, which had 469,000 (2.7%).
