Disney poaches Nick executive

Nickelodeon exec Paul O’Higgins has been poached by Disney to serve as vice-president of marketing across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The role, previously occupied by Chris Cowan, includes overseeing campaigns for TV shows and exploring new channel launches. He will report to John Hardie, executive VP and MD of Walt Disney Television.
Before joining Nickelodeon, O'Higgins worked at AOL Time Warner, Cartoon Network and Sci-Fi Channel.
