'Gameshow Marathon' is 'Golden'

The show pulled in an average of 8.42 million (41.1%) between 7.10pm and 8.10pm, up by around 1.3 million viewers week-on-week.
Meanwhile, two episodes and different timeslots saw ratings for The X Factor drop off from last week's 10 million high. The "boot camp" phase of the competition averaged 8.61 million (47.8%) at 6.10pm and 8.44 million (37.3%) at 8.10pm, still more than good enough for the top two places overall.
The second episode of sci-fi series afterlife also proved a hit for the network, taking fourth place with 6.21 million (28.8%) at 9.10pm.
BBC One's top performer was Casualty, down to fifth with 6.13 million (26.9%) at 8.10pm. One off special Saturday Swings managed a respectable 4.45 million (20.6%) an hour later.
Spinoff show The Xtra Factor topped the multichannel chart but lost around half of its viewers week-on-week in its later 10.10pm timeslot, averaging 463,000 (3.7%) across the hour.
Earlier, new series Jack Osbourne - Adrenaline Junkie put in 385,000 (2.5%) for third.
Other highlights included the Sky Movies premiere of The Chronicles of Riddick with 357,000 (2.3%) plus 296,000 (2.1%) and BBC Four's The Jitterbug Years, seen by 233,000 (1.7%) at 10.10pm.
