Turner reorganises European entertainment ops

Turner Broadcasting System Europe announced today that it is reorganising its entertainment businesses.
"Our objective with these changes is to create a rational, responsive structure to support every department in the organisation," said TBS Europe president Nan Richards. "Given the quality of this leadership team and the continued outstanding performance within each group and region, I am confident that the transition to this new operating model will be seamless and will allow us to continue to innovate and achieve aggressive growth."
Dee Forbes is now senior VP and general manager of TBS UK and Ireland, relinqushing her role as senior VP of ad sales in Europe. Each country's advertising sales chief will now report to their respective country managers.
Tina McCann will continue in her role as senior VP and general manager of Turner Entertainment Networks Broadcast Operations in France, Italy and Spain. She will now also oversee ad sales, S&P, programming and acquisitions for her regions.
Michael Riley is now senior VP and general manager of TBS in Germany, the Nordic region, central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His replacement as VP and GM of TBS France "will be announced shortly," the company said.
Finn Arnesen will become senior VP and GM for original animation in the EMEA region and TBS International Development. He will continue to represent TBS International on the global Greenlight Committee for Cartoon Network Originals.
Casey Harwood will become senior VP and GM of interactive, wireless and commercial distribution in the EMEA region for TBS Europe.
