To mark the year that The King would have turned 75, Radio 2 will stage an 'Elvis Forever' concert in London's Hyde Park on September 12.
Hosted by Evans, the event will feature some of the "greatest names in pop and rock music" performing Elvis's hits, culminating in a spectacular firework finale.
The concert will be broadcast live on Radio 2, with exclusive backstage footage and interviews from the event to be made available on the station's website.
"As the Radio 2 audience knows, I am a huge Elvis fan and it's an honour to host such a celebration of the enduring appeal of his music," said Evans.
Radio 2 head of programming Lewis Carnie added: "Elvis's music has an enduring appeal to Radio 2 listeners of all ages, so I'm thrilled that our friends at Graceland in Memphis are working with us on this event.
"What better way to pay tribute to Elvis's incredible legacy than to bring together the stars of today to perform his greatest and best-loved hits?"
The 'Elvis Forever' concert follows Radio 2's 'Thank You For The Music...A Celebration Of The Music Of Abba' event last year, which featured performances from Kylie Minogue, Jamie Cullum, Lulu, Chaka Khan and The Feeling.
