Frank, who last year masterminded ESPN's acquisition of the Premier League rights previously owned by collapsed broadcaster Setanta, recently confirmed her intention to leave the firm for personal reasons.
Warner Bros Pictures has now hired Frank to its newly-created role of executive vice-president of international marketing, covering all international territories.
Frank will oversee all international campaigns for Warner Bros films and act as a key international liaison for other divisions in the company.
She will take up the new role in October this year after relocating from London to Burbank, California, where Warner Bros Pictures has its worldwide headquarters.
Prior to joining ESPN, Frank spent 12 years in various roles at Turner Broadcasting, including finance director for Turner Pictures and Cartoon Network, and executive vice president of European Entertainment Networks.
