Published Thursday, Nov 10 2005, 10:44 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Five is speeding up plans to launch its first digital spinoff channel.
Dan Chambers, the network's programming director, has narrowed down the theme of the station to one of three possibilities: general entertainment, movies or an ITV2-style, female-skewed lifestyle channel.
Broadcast reports that the channel, which will also feature a Milkshake-branded block of programming for kids, could be on air before the year is out.
