Turner plans new cartoon spinoff channels

Turner Broadcasting is planning to increase its kids channels from four to six, it has been confirmed.
The first will be a one-hour timeshift of Boomerang, which airs classic cartoons such as Popeye, The Flintstones and Scooby Doo.
The second is 'Cartoon Network Too', a non-timeshift spinoff of the main Cartoon Network channel. The station will target 4 to 9-year olds with a lineup of classics such as Wacky Races and Yogi Bear.
The channels are due for launch early in 2006.
