Outhwaite walks away confidently for ITV1

With a fourth place ranking for the day, the Tamzin Outhwaite drama easily topped the final part of BBC One doc The Last Tommy, which had 3.88 million (16.9%) in the 9pm hour.
EastEnders retained the top spot for the day with 11.28 million (49.3%) over Emmerdale's 9.34 million (44.4%).
Third place went to Holby City, drawing 7.86 million (33.5%) at 8pm. Channel 4 finished second for the hour with an audience of 3.36 million (14.3%) for Property Ladder while on ITV1, documentary Real Families: The Man Who Loved the Number 12 compelled 2.7 million (11.5%). BBC Two welcomed 2.33 million (9.9%) to Dragons' Den as Five's Revealed: Franklin's Lost Expedition interested 1.53 million (6.5%).
As usual, things picked up for Five at 9pm with CSI: Miami. A special double bill of the crime drama had respective audiences of 3.09 million (13.5%) and 2.89 million (15.4%), more than double BBC Two's Making Slough Happy (1.42 million, 6.2%) and C4's Make Me a Million (1.41 million, 6.1%). Both channels dropped off further at 10pm, with Supernova entertaining just 0.78 million (3.7%) on BBC Two and C4's Ghost Squad premiering to a disappointing 1.23 million (6.7%). Five's Law & Order rounded off the evening at 11pm with 1.38 million (13.8%).
Amongst the multichannels, Most Haunted put in a reliable 374,000 (2.3%) for Living TV in the 9pm hour and an extra 110,000 (0.8%) via timeshift.
Sky One led at 8pm with 714,000 (4.3%) for a new Stargate SG-1 while on ITV2, New Homes from Hell had just 268,000 (1.6%). At 9pm the tables turned, with ITV2 movie Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure holding 364,000 (2.3%) over The 4400's 264,000 (1.6%).
E4's next episode of Ghost Squad had just 113,000 (1.7%) at 11pm while earlier in the evening, first-run Hollyoaks scored with 302,000 (2%).
