Living TV boss would love to work at Sky

In her Controller Session at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Rosencrantz expressed her hope that Sky will invest heavily in the Living channels, which include Living, Bravo, Challenge and Channel One.
Rosencrantz noted that Sky has already spent a considerable amount of money promoting programmes on Bravo, such as Spartacus: Blood And Sand.
"I don't fear it because I think change is exciting. They have chosen to place massive marketing behind Spartacus and shows on the channel," she said.
"Bravo has had an absolutely phenomenal year this year. I think it has a very different proposition to both Sky and FX. We've tried to drive those Freeview men into pay who've been resisting so far, and we've had success in doing that."
Aside the success of Bravo, Rosencrantz said that Sky was primarily attracted to Living TV because of its strong track record in attracting female audiences. She also took the opportunity to describe Sky as an "astonishing company".
"I would love to work there," she said. "I always stay and work in places where I'm happy and I'm loved and leave when I'm not."
However, Rosencrantz admitted that she doesn't know for sure what will happen as she has had no contact with Sky while the £160m deal is still awaiting final regulatory approval.
"We have no contact whatsoever with our new owners, nor they with us, while this regulatory process goes through," she said.
Sky's Living TV deal is expected to be finalised next month when all the regulatory issues are resolved and the Office of Fair Trading clears the transaction.
