The programme, titled the Starbucks Doubleshot Show, will involve listeners choosing a pair of songs relating to the same artist or album.
The show will also see Lamb reunite with his friend and former 6 Music sidekick Marc Hughes for "refreshing banter" between the tracks.
Produced by independent production company Somethin' Else, the 30-minute weekday programme will run for four weeks on Spotify.
Lamb announced in May that he was quitting 6 Music to prioritise his commitments in television, including recently co-hosting the final Big Brother's Little Brother.
