The Australian singer and radio personality, who presented the station's breakfast show alongside Merrick Watts and Scott Dooley, found out she had lost her job on the same day that she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the country's radio awards.
An industry insider told The Daily Telegraph: "You can only imagine how she feels - she's up for an award and then dumped before she even has a chance to win it."
Coulter's manager Sean Anderson said: "Being asked to do breakfast radio in Sydney at just 24 was a huge opportunity and challenge and Ricki-Lee is proud of the work that she has done.
"She has had a terrific time co-hosting the Merrick, Dools & Ricki-Lee Show and found the experience extremely rewarding personally."
It is believed that Coulter will be replaced by drivetime host Katie 'Monty' Diamond.
