Channel 4 has appointed Sarah Rose to the newly-created role of head of channel and VOD development, the broadcaster has announced.
Rose joins the network from ITV, where she was general manager of ITV's digital channels, overseeing the launches of ITV3 and ITV4.
Her new responsibilities will be to develop C4's multichannel portfolio - including anticipated new launches later this year - and VOD strategy.
"My time at ITV has been incredibly rewarding and I am extremely proud of what the team has achieved with ITV's digital channels, which I am leaving in great shape," said Rose. "However, it's time for a new challenge and I am delighted to be joining Channel 4 at such an exciting time in its history."
