ITV has appointed Patrick Ugeux as its new director of marketing strategy.
In the newly-created role, Ugeux will be responsible for developing the broadcaster's marketing and "viewer insight".
Ugeux joins from Marakon Associates, an international strategy consulting firm, where he was manager and consultant. He previously worked at A&E Networks, US-based operator of the Biography Channel and the History Channel, as head of business development.
"We are delighted to be appointing someone of Patrick's calibre to this important new role," said Clare Salmon, ITV's director of marketing and commercial strategy. "He has the right combination of skills to help ITV balance both the creative and analytical needs of our advertisers."
