Gary Groenheim has been appointed as CNBC Europe's new head of marketing, taking control of all marketing and advertising for the channel across Europe.
The 37-year-old joins the broadcaster from a five-year stint at TIME magazine, where he was senior marketing manager.
"It's a great time to be joining CNBC Europe," said Groenheim of his appointment. "The channel is enjoying continued success in growing its audience and attracting new advertisers. My role is to build on that success by helping to identify new opportunities and introduce new and compelling ways of growing the CNBC Europe brand in the marketplace."
